CareAsha Caregiving Comics

Simple stories for compassionate care

“Caring for those who once cared for us.”

Ten illustrated stories about one family and the everyday realities of looking after an older parent — a near-fall in the living room, a missed dose, a grandmother who forgets, an afternoon that turns into an emergency. Each one ends with a Care Box: the few practical things that would have made the difference.

From the foreword

“Caregiving is an expression of love, responsibility and human connection. Yet family caregivers often take on this important role with little preparation or guidance.”

Dr Arvind Mathur · Founder-Chairperson, Caregivers Asha Society
